James Lincoln Smith, 71, passed away Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014. Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in Greenwood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Caddo Cemetery in Joshua. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Greenwood Funeral Home. James was born Sept. 15, 1942, in Cleburne to James Olen and Nell Austin Smith. He served three years in the U.S. Army. James retired after 30-plus years with Vandervoort's Dairy in Fort Worth. He was a member of the Rock Hound Club and enjoyed making jewelry. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Mary Nell Smith. Survivors: Daughter, Jina Price and husband, Ronny; sister, Linda Davis and husband, Richard; brother, Olen M. Smith; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
