Mrs. Bombard was born in Au Sable Forks 83 years ago, her passing to the Great Beyond occurring on her 83rd birthday anniversary. Mrs. Bombard had spent practically her entire life in Au Sable Forks, and frequently spoke of the many changes in the industrial and business life of the community which she had witnessed.
Her funeral was held Monday forenoon, January 6, 1936, at nine o'clock from Holy Name church in Au Sable Forks, Rev. Father O'Brien officiating at the requiem mass.
She was survived by four sons, Peter, George, Moses and William, all of Au Sable Forks, and one daughter, Mrs. C. Welcome of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Her husband preceded her in death two years ago.
The interment was in Holy Name cemetery, the pallbearers being O. E. Garso, Dennis Longtemps, Alfred LaBombard, John D'Avignon, Henry Miner and George Pelkey, sr.
