MRS. A. M. KING DIES AT HOME

KAYSVILLE, Aug. 19 -- Mrs. Frances Ellen Robins King, wife of Alonzo M. King, well known pioneers of Davis County, died this morning at two-thirty o'clock at her home in Kaysville following a two weeks illness.

Mrs King was born in Auston, England, September 5, 1849, a daughter of Edmond and Elizabeth Welch Robins. She came to America when she was five years of age with her parents as LDS converts. She has been active in the church in Kaysville and Davis County. She was a member of the Daughters of the Pioneers and LDS Relief Society. She was married to Mr. King in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple.

Mrs. King was the mother of twelve children, seven of whom survive her: James S., Marvin E. King, Mrs. J. H. Lythgoe, Mrs. James E. Bennett, Mrs. Williams Nance, all of Kaysville; Mrs. Thomas Nicholls, Midvale and Mrs. Sam Hall, Ogden.

She is also survived by 28 grandchildren and 51 great-grandchildren and Parley Green a grandson whom she raised.

Funeral services will be held Friday at two o'clock in the Kaysville Tabernacle with Bishop Herbert C. Burton officiating. Friends may call at the residence in Kaysville Thursday afternoon and evening and Friday until time of services.

Interment will be made in the Kaysville-Layton Cemetery under the direction of Lindquist & Sons Mortuary of Ogden.

Rites Conducted For Frances King

KAYSVILLE, Aug. 22 — Services for Francis Ellen King, wife of Alonzo M. King, were held Friday afternoon in the Kaysville Tabernacle with Bishop Hubert Burton officiating.

The music was furnished by a quartet composed of P. J. Rentmeister, Grace Rentmeister, Ralph Cottrell and Vera Cottrell, and Ella Burton and David Hughes. Opening prayer was offered by Joseph Payne and benediction pronounced by Geo. R. Bennett. Speakers were Patriarch David E. Layton, Rosell Hyde, James Griddle and Bishop Burton.

Interment was made in the Kaysville-Layton Cemetery where the grave was dedicated by Thomas Robins. Pallbearers were grandsons and members of the Kaysville Relief Society had charge of the flowers.
