He lived in Ely Township, White Pine, Nevada in 1940 and McGill, White Pine, Nevada in 1950. He died on 22 March 1961, in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah, at the age of 80, and was buried in Spanish Fork City Cemetery, Spanish Fork, Utah.
