Rush Springs - Longtime Rush Springs resident GLEN EUGENE CUMMINGS, 82, Rt. 2, Rush Springs, died Wednesday, Oct. 20, 1993, in an Oklahoma City hospital.
Service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Rush Springs Church of Christ with Clif Werhan and Jairrett Dickison officiating. Burial will be in Duncan Cemetery, under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home of Rush Springs.
Mr. Cummings was born Sept. 3, 1911 in Beaver Crossing, Neb. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and formerly owned Driller's Engine and Supply in Oklahoma City, selling the business and retiring in 1973. He moved to Rush Springs in 1975 and was a member of the Rush Springs Church of Christ. He married O'Leta Spencer on Nov. 16, 1935 at Chickasha.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; three brothers, Horace Cummings of Duncan, Lawrence Cummings of Burbank, Calif. and Russell Cummings of El Reno; three sisters, Iona Pollock of Comanche, Delila Stamper of Oklahoma City and Ruby Treece of Duncan; and several nieces and nephews.
