Brent Cline of Boulder, died January 6, 2014 at Boulder Community Hospital. He was 58. Brent was born on July 3, 1955 in Oskaloosa, Iowa to Dwight "Bob" Cline and Kathleen Kerr Cline.

He moved to the Boulder/Longmont area where he attended classes. He married Janet Eggert, his longtime sweetheart, August 20, 2000 at his mother's home in Longmont. Brent was a natural athlete and one of his greatest joy was sports, both as a participant and spectator. He was active in the Boulder Recreation EXPAND program with their softball, basketball, track and field, floor hockey, volleyball, bowling, skiing and swimming. Brent also competed in Special Olympics where he received many awards. He was a Bronco, Rockies and Nuggets faithful fan. He much anticipated the Broncos playoff schedule towards this year's Super Bowl. Brent was also a Boy Scout in his beloved father's troop.

Surviving are his wife of Boulder; his mother of Longmont; sister of Niwot; brother of Ft. Collins; and many dear friends.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 16 at the Boulder Elks Lodge #0566. Interment will be held at Ft. Logan National Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Denver Zoo Foundation, 2300 Steele St., Denver, CO 80205 or Play Boulder Foundation, Expand Sports, P.O. Box 20935, Boulder, CO 80308.
