Mr Arendall retired from the United States Army as a Master Sergeant in 1970 from Ft Jackson, South Carolina and continued to make their home there.
He was the son of the late Andrew Claude & Queen Ester Taylor Arendall of Mobile, Alabama.
Mr Arendall is survived by his wife, Peggy, who resides at their home in Columbia and several children.
Also surviving are his sisters Ruth Milney, Ethel Miler, Louise Litton & Mary Diamond all of Mobile, Alabama. One other sister, Helen Adair who resides in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Mr Arendall is also survived by six brothers, James, Billy, John, Henry, Raymond & Woodrow Arendall all of Mobile, Alabama and another brother, George Arendall who resides in Japan.
