Melanie Renae Cook, 48, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2013. She is preceded in death by her father, Jerome Borinsky. She is survived by her mother, Elmerline Borinsky; husband, Mark Cook; former husband and father of their children, Thomas A. Liles; son, Anthony Liles; daughter, Adrean Roberts and her husband, Warren; brother, Joe Borinsky; grandchild, Evelyn Roberts; and a host of other family and friends.

Melanie loved helping people and was an advocate for the needs of seniors. She enjoyed riding the ferry in Galveston, going to resale shops, and especially spending time with her friends and family. Melanie will forever be remembered for her love of Coca-Cola, her caring nature and devotion to family.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations may be made in Melanie's honor to the ActionS, Inc. of Brazoria County at 1524 E. Mulberry, Suite 135, Angleton, TX 77515, the First United Methodist Church of Pearland, or to the charity of your choice.

The family received friends on Monday, July 15, 2013 at 12:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. Memorial service held for Melanie followed beginning at 1:30 pm at Clayton Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Lewis officiating.
