Jack Howard Prince, 79, of Taylorsville, MS, died Saturday, January 11, 2014 at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, MS. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm, on Monday, January 13, 2014 at Ellisville Funeral Home in Ellisville, MS with Rev. Thomas Cochran and Rev. Robbie Thornton officiating. Burial will be at Fellowship Cemetery. Ellisville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements, 601-477-3797

Jack was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He enjoyed farming and gardening and spent the majority of his working life making a living at it. Jack especially loved his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Jack is preceded in death by his parents, Lonzo Lee and Lottie Crosby Prince; brothers, Bill Prince and James Buckley and sister, Corene Stringer.
Survivors include his son, David Howard Prince (Regina), Taylorsville, MS; daughters, Betty Prince West (Ed), Buckatunna, MS and Deborah Ann Runnels (Thomas), Buckatunna, MS; brother, Benny Ray Prince (Peggy), Tyler, TX; sisters, Helen Faye Stevens, Laurel, MS and Katherine Butler, AL; grandchildren, Cynthia Ann Dove (Josh), Louisville, KY, Wanda Faye Mason (Robby), Clara, MS and Brandon Edward West (Amanda), Clara, MS; great grandchildren, Maggie Mason, Abigale Mason, and Makena Mason of Clara, MS, Ethan Hamilton, Taylorsville, MS, Kameron West and Rikee West of Clara, MS, Abigail Dove, Emma Dove and Ivy Dove of Louisville, KY and special friend and cousin, Evalin Pittman and her family, Taylorsville, MS.
