Mary and her sister Emma, died 4 days apart, July 22 and July 18, 1983 respectively. Prior to their death they were both residents of the Ostrander Nursing Home in Ostrander, MN. Sixteen years earlier their sisters Bertha and Anna died a day apart on May 9th and May 10th, 1967 respectively.

Leo and Mary did not have children.
