Ralph R. Rodgers
Ralph R. Rodgers, 84, of Fredericksburg died Monday, Aug. 23, 2004, at Hughes Home. He was a World War II Army veteran and a member of Salem Baptist Church for over 50 years. He had retired as a carpenter after 47 years.
Survivors include his daughter, Debbie Morris and her husband, Larry, of Spotsylvania County; his son, Robert Gallahan and his wife, Jean, of Stafford County; a sister, Annie Patton of Spotsylvania; a grandson, Jason Morris; two granddaughters, Sherri Purks and Crystal Jeffries; and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 26, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. Entombment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 25, at the funeral home.
