Rhonda Thomas, age 61, of Bean Station, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2013 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. She was a member of First Independent Freewill Baptist Church in Bean Station. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Vonnie Hatfield of Jumping Branch, WV. She is survived by her husband, Howard Thomas; children, Theresa Hawkins of Wilmington, NC and Melanie Thomas-Kozak of Bean Station; grandchildren, Daniel Adam Thomas of Bean Station, Melissa Greene of Wilmington, NC, and Miranda Lynn Clevenger of Talbott; brother, Greg (Annice) Hatfield of Ballard, WV; and nephews, Jeffery Hatfield and Josh Hatfield of Ballard, WV. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, January 3 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Shannon Kinsler officiating. Interment will follow at First Independent Freewill Baptist Church in Bean Station. The family will receive friends from 6 ��" 8 p.m. Thursday, January 2 at the funeral home. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
