Jack D. Boyd, 84, passed away on January 8th, 2014 in Ridgeland, MS after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. Mr. Boyd was a piano tuner in northeast Louisiana for over 40 years. Tuning pianos was his passion. According to his wishes, graveside services for family only were held the day following his death, on January 9, 2014.
Mr. Boyd was preceded in death by his first wife of 55 years, Arlene Holmes Boyd, and his second wife of 4 years, Ollie Janway Boyd, his parents, Bennie Ethan Boyd and Lillie (Carney) Boyd, brothers, Willie Smith Boyd, Carney Boyd, and sister Eva (Boyd) Rayborn.
Mr. Boyd is survived by his two daughters, Anita Tinnerello (husband Tommy), and Maria Holman and his sister, Lucille (Boyd) Sherman. He leaves behind four grandchildren, Monique Duncan, Jonathan Duncan, Jeremy Tinnerello and Tonya (Tinnerello) Smith and six great-grandchildren.
