"William served as a Technician Fifth Grade, U.S. Army during World War II.
He resided in the District Of Columbia prior to the war. He was a member of the D.C. National Guard.
He was called into full time Army service on January 6, 1941, prior to the war, from Washington, D.C. He was noted, at the time of his transfer, as being employed as a Salesperson and also as Single, without dependents.
William died in the "Line Of Duty" of a non-battle related incident during the war.
