Columbus, GA- Nora O'Grady Stephens, 82, of Columbus, GA, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Columbus Hospice House, surrounded by her loving family. Nora was born September 5, 1931 in Tifton, GA, to Thomas and Mamie Marchant O'Grady. She graduated from Baker High School and spent her adult life in Columbus, where she retired from W. C. Bradley Co..

Visitation will be Sunday, January 12, 2014 5:00 7:00 pm in the St Elmo room of Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Rd. Columbus, GA. A Graveside service will be Monday, January 13, 2014 11:00 am at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Rd. Columbus, GA, with Rev Lynn McManicia officiating.

Other than her parents, Ms. Stephens was preceded in death by her brother Thomas Patrick O'Grady, Jr. She is survived by her son; George Elbert Brown of Phenix City, . AL, and daughter; Patricia B. Parks of Phenix City, AL, five grandchildren; Ed (Laura) Brown of Columbus, GA, Arlis (Melissa) Steen III of Ethel, MS, Kristy Smith of Columbus, GA, Teresa Steen of Phenix City, AL, Sarah (Drew) Littleton of Columbus, GA, and 12 great grandchildren.
