Susan E. (Sue) Norvell, 97, of rural Marshall, MO, died Monday, November 11, 2013, at Big Bend Retreat in Slater, MO.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, November 14, 2013, at Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall, with Rev. Wayne Doolin officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Thursday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Memorials may be made to

Born July 20, 1916, in Beaman, MO, she was the daughter of the late Louis Renno and Fannie Cabler Renno. On February 14, 1942, in Chillicothe, MO, she married Lloyd L. (Red) Norvell who preceded her in death on March 23, 1972. She lived in Saline County most of her life and worked at Kraft Foods and ConAgra retiring from the Marshall Habilitation Center after eighteen years as a supervisor. She enjoyed horseback riding and quilting. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Marshall and its Priscilla Sunday School class.

Survivors include one son, Lloyd R. (Randy) Norvell of Broadus, MT; one stepdaughter, Arlene Anderson of St. Joseph, MO; and several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband Sue was preceded in death by a daughter in infancy; and one step-son, Donald Lavon Norvell.
