Mary was born March 4, 1933 in Oshkosh the daughter of Rudolph and Antonia Loos Poeschl. Mary was a graduate of Oshkosh High School. On July 11, 1953 she married Ken Beahm in Oshkosh. The couple resided in Oshkosh for five years and in 1958 moved to Waupun. Mary was an active member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Waupun and a past member of the Altar Society. Mary enjoyed her family and grandchildren, and always opened her home and heart to everyone.

Mary is survived by her and Ken's children, Paula (Dave) Derksen of Stevens Point, John (Deb) Beahm of Waupun, Brian Beahm of Madison, Jane (Al) Watry of Waupun, and Sue Hansen of rural Markesan; nine grandchildren, Carrie (Jeremy) Baumann, Greg (Erin) Derksen, Mike (Chas) Beahm, Joe (Naomi) Beahm, Katy (Matt) Babiash, Erin Watry, Jenna, Nicole and Megan Hansen; 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Melvin (Jean) Poeschl of Oshkosh; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Don (Louise) Beahm, Pat Poeschl and Marge Poeschl.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Ken; a son, David; an infant son, Michael; a son-in-law, Mike Hansen; four brothers, Herb, Elmer, Rudy and Tom Poeschl; three sisters, Dorothy Stein, Josephine Potratz, and Millie Lyons.
Friends and relatives of Mary Beahm may call on the family at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun on Monday from 5-7 p.m. and on Tuesday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.There will be a wake service at 7 p.m. on Monday following the visitation.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Waupun with Rev. Mike Wild officiating.

A private burial will take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Oshkosh.
