She was a former member of Faith Assembly of God, New Cumberland, formerly attended Bethel Assembly of God, Carlisle and was currently attending services in the chapel of the Church of God Home, Carlisle.
Mrs. Carroll was born in Port Royal, PA to the late Chester G. and Margaret E. (Troutman) Hockenberry.
She was the widow of Joseph C. Carroll and is survived by four sons, Stephen J. (Teresa) of Duncannon, Michael D. (Karen) of Gardners, Timothy J. (Teresa) of Dillsburg and Kevin J. (Melanie) of New Cumberland; two daughters, Joan E Wonders (Kenneth) of Boiling Springs and Margaret S. Young (Harry "Cork") of Columbia; a brother William Hockenberry of New Cumberland; two sisters, Dorothy Calhoun of Duncannon and Ruth Ann Bear of Gettysburg; 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 in Fairview Bethel Church of God, New Cumberland with Chaplain Bradley V. Moore and Pastor Dan Masshardt officiating. Viewing will be one hour prior to services in the church. Burial will be in Fairview Bethel Cemetery, Fairview Twp.
