Mrs. Dorothy Andes Buttman, 72, of 33 1/2 Boston Hill, Plymouth, wife of Adam Buttman, died yesterday afternoon at home after ten years' illness. She had been an invalid for the past six years.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 2:30 at the home, with interment in Oaklawn cemetery.
Mrs. Buttman was born in Wilkes-Barre and lived here until 35 years ago when she moved to Plymouth. She was a member of the Reformed Church of Plymouth and a charter member of the Ladies' Auxiliary of the Brotherhood of Railroad Locomotive Firemen. Mr. and Mrs. Buttman observed their 52nd wedding anniversary on April 30, last.
Surviving are her husband, two children, Edward M. Buttman of Philadelphia, and Mrs. H. F. Spaide of Kingston; two brothers, Michael and Philip Andes, both of Wilkes-Barre, and these sisters, Helen Andes and Mrs. Martha McMara of this city and Mrs. Sophie Miller of Lee Park. Four grandchildren survive.
