∼Anita (Arter) Imke, 86, of Sarasota, FL, formerly of Aurora, passed away December 25, 2002. She was a long time employee of the Burlington Northern Railroad in Aurora. She was past Matron and Grand Lecturer of Rising Sun Chapter O.E.S. and Guardian Job's Daughters. Anita had also been a member of the Aurora Women's Club. After moving to Florida, she became active in the Pine Shores Presbyterian Church and Children's Haven.
She was preceded in death by her husband Fritz Imke, her brother Elwin Arter; her brother and sister-in-law Wesley and Edith Arter, a sister Marvel and Stepdaughter Mitzi Herting.
She is survived by her nieces Allison Ouren of Menifee, CA and Carol Kennedy Giannini of Westmont, IL; as well as several great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held in Sarasota, FL.
