Bernice Lavell Jenkins, age 72 of Carrollton, passed away Wednesday, January 08, 2014. She was born October 12, 1940 in Carrollton, Georgia to Mr. Hubert Jenkins and Mrs. Allie Mae Eady Jenkins. She retired as a seamstress with Chalk Line and was a homemaker and loving mother. She was a member of South Street Congregational Holiness Church. Besides her parents, preceding her in death is daughter, Rita Robin Rayburn; and brothers, Billy Jenkins, Denver Jenkins, Jack Jenkins, and David Jenkins. Survivors include daughters, Jane Lambert and Gwen Edwards both of Carrollton; son Keith Rayburn (Stacey) of Carrollton; daughter, Kim Blair (Curtis) of Bremen; daughter, Michelle Collins (David) of Carrollton; thirteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. Interment will be in West Georgia Memorial Park.
