Calvin, age 57, passed away at his home in South Coffeyville. He was the son of Glen and Opal (Smith) Pollet. He graduated from Wann High School. He married Elaine Avery on December 31, 1977. He played in the Dry Gulch Band.

Survivors include his wife, his sons, Brandon Pollet, Cody Pollet, and Lucas Pollet, his siblings, Carl Pollet and Kim Smith, and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Reta Wilson.

Services were held at Emmanuel Chapel in South Coffeyville. Burial was in Robbins Cemetery west of Coffeyville.

Calvin designed and built some of the fastest 2 stroke engines in the was his passion, but nothing meant more to him than his family, his wife Elaine, his sons Brandon, Cody & Lucas, and being "Pappy" to his grandchildren.
