Randy Joe Melton, 44, a former truck driver, died Sunday, May 1, 2011 at Crossgates River Oaks Hospital in Brandon, MS Visitation is today, May 2, 2011 from 4 - 7 pm and 1 - 2 pm Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 2 pm Tuesday from the Chapel of Ott & Lee Funeral Home with burial to follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS. Randy was born on August 13, 1966 in Ripley, MS to Paul Winter Melton and the late Betty Carolyn Wommack Melton . He was a longtime resident of Brandon, MS and was a graduate of McLaurin High School where he was a member of the Band and played football. He was a member of Crossgates Baptist Church.Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Melton of Brandon, MS; his father, Paul Winter Melton of Richland, MS; one sister, Debbie Melton Hood of Brandon, MS; two brothers, Terry Wayne Melton, Sr. and Anthony Paul Melton both of Brandon, MS; one niece, two nephews, five great nieces and four great nephews.
