Mr. Dale Allen McKinney, age 49 of Mt. Vernon, died Thursday, Dec. 26, 2013 at his home. He was born in Indianapolis, IN on Aug. 4, 1964 the son of Eugene and Edna Monday McKinney. He had been a truck driver for 31 years and attended Buffalo Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time at the McKinney farm, being outdoors, four-wheeling, and being with family, friends, and his pets.
In addition to his parents, Eugene and Edna McKinney of Greenwood, IN, he is survived by his wife, Linda Buckner McKinney; a daughter, Ashley Louise McKinney of New Washington, IN; three sons, Jeremy Dale McKinney and wife Ashley of Whiteland, IN, and Jesse Garrett McKinney and Elijah Eugene McKinney, both of New Washington, IN; two step-daughters, Crystal Owens and Amber Owens, both of Indianapolis, IN; two brothers, Eugene McKinney and wife Jennifer of Greenwood, IN, and Christopher McKinney and wife Karen of Franklin, IN; six grandchildren, Jolie, Nevaeh, Amerikiss, Malachi, Gage, and Keon; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James and Wilma Monday; and his paternal grandparents, Rollie and Ruby McKinney
