Mrs. Myrtle Mae Garner of Advance died Wednesday, August 29, 1984 in the Chaffee Hospital. She was 83. She was born July 20, 1901 near Zalma, daughter of Joseph William and Clora (Rowe) Angel.
On April 27, 1918 she married Jonah James Garner at Lutesville, MO. He died March 23, 1954.
She was a member of Little Valley Baptist Church near Lutesville, MO.
Surviving are sons, Homer, Troy, and Leonard Garner all of Advance, MO; Estel Garner of Naples, FL; brothers, Harry Angel of Wentzville, MO; Ernest Angel of St. Louis, MO; one sister, Mrs. Ada Elledge of Lutesville, MO; twelve grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
Two sons, one daughter, and two brothers preceded her in death.
Service was Friday at Morgan Funeral Home. Burial was in Bollinger County Memorial Park.
