Josephine M. "Josie" Little, was the daughter of Thomas Marion Little and Sarah Ann Melinda Gann of Ider, Alabama Dekalb County. Her siblings were: Laura Adaline Little-O'Kelley, Marion Jefferson Little, Cora E. Little, Velma O. Little, Herman Sylvester Little, Beulah Little-Pangle married Julius M. Pangle 17 October 1920 Dekalb County, Alabama Beulah died 4 December 1989, and The Rev. Charles "Charlie" Allen Little. Her grandparents were, Francis L. "Frank" Little and Margaret "Adaline" Nunnelley Scott-Little of Ider and Mr. Green Asbury "Bud" Gann and Martha Stallings-Gann of Ider, Alabama. "Josie" Little, married Mr. Gurley Hubert Young of Ider, on July 2, 1921 Trenton, Georgia Dade County. They had lived in Dekalb County, Alabama and in Hillsborough, Flordia..that I know of. Josie and Gurley , had seven children that I know of. Glen Young (1923), Reece Young (1926), Conrad Ruben Young (1922), Anna Lou Young-Horton of Higdon, Tennessee....Dorothy L. Young-Morrison (1929), Mae Bell Young-Beardon, of Sidney, Flordia and Vernie (Young) Hampton-Shrader , of Bryant, Alabama in Jackson County. Josie died on a Friday morning at the age of 57 years. She was a member of the Ider Baptist Church. Josie Little-Young is loved and missed by her family and friends. She will be remembered....
