Betty Ruth (Hildenbrand) Isbell, 75, of Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2001.
Born Feb. 27, 1926 in Sullivan, she was the daughter of Albert and Edith (Wilson) Hildenbrand.
She worked at Western Electric for 26 years, retiring in 1983. She was a member of The Pioneers Club of America and a charter member of the Indianapolis Scrabble Club.
Survivors include her husband, Willard Isbell of Indianapolis; two daughters, Marcia Swartz and Marilyn Carter; two sons, Billy J. Isbell and James W. Isbell; one sister, Sharon Lupus; one brother, Cale Hildenbrand; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at Shirley Brothers Irving Hill Chapel, 9606 E. Washington St. Indianapolis at 7 p.m. on Friday. Burial will follow at Mount Moriah cemetery near Dugger.
