Ricky S. Matthews Sr., 50, Fayetteville, died Sept. 28, 2004. He was born July 11, 1954 in Fulton County. Graveside services were at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City, with the Rev. Bill Priester officiating. Survivors include his wife, Pam Matthews, Fayetteville; sons, Ricky and Amy Matthews Jr., Newnan, and Dustin Matthews, Fayetteville; a daughter, Amy and Mark Hanes, Sharpsburg; five grandchildren; a brother, Terry and Barbara Matthews, Brooks; sisters, Jean Darden, Fayetteville, and Gale Malcom, Newnan; and a brother-in-law, John Batten, Jonesboro. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
