IRMO - Grady Richard "Dick" Shealy, 70, of Irmo, died Thursday, January 9, 2014. Born June 10, 1943, in Columbia, he was a son of the late Grady William and Beatrice Corine Davis Shealy. Dick loved cars, was a member of the Jamil Shrine Temple and attended Gateway Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Ivey Shealy; sons, G. Richard "Rick" Shealy, Jr. and Michael Todd Shealy; and grandsons, Colton Richard Shealy, William Blake Byerly Hall, James Riley O'Quinn and Michael Westin Shealy.
A memorial service for Mr. Shealy will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday, January 12th, at Shives Funeral Home Colonial Chapel,5202 Colonial Drive, Columbia,with the Rev. Don Brock officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, Office of Development, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.
