LAYTON – Spc. Ryan Christensen, 29, was killed Tuesday, January 7, 2014 in a vehicular-related accident at Fort Riley's motor pool in performance of his duties in Fort Riley, Kansas.

He was born July 24, 1984 in Ogden, Utah the son of Ray N. and Shelagh Stoker Christensen.

Ryan was a petroleum supply specialist in the 101st Brigade Support Battalion, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division.

He was a member of the LDS Church.

Ryan loved camping, hunting and the outdoors.

Surviving are his parents, Layton; brother Troy, London, England; sisters Heather (Kyle) Rodeback, Layton; and Misty (Ryan) Raasch, Layton.

Interment, Lindquist's Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
