Marie B. Chappell, 83, a , homemaker, died of heart failure Sunday at Rankin County Medical Center in Brandon. Services are 3 p.m. today at Floral Hills Memory Garden. Visitation is 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at Ott & Lee Funeral Home. Mrs. Chappell was a Georgetown native and a longtime resident of the Pearl area. She was a member of the Pearl United Methodist Church.
She was the widow of William Floyd Chappell.
Survivors include: son, William David ChappelI of Pensacola, Fla. ; daughters, Betsy Marie Smith and Doris C. Forbes, both of Pearl; a number of brother and sisters; and six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
