Bonnie Weis Fisher,82, passed to a better life Nov. 19,2013 after a long illness.
She was born Sept. 6,1931, to Walter F. Weis and Inez Milliron Weis and married July 16, 1949, to William B. Fisher, Jr. which resulted in three children, Randall Fisher (Stephanie),Russell Fisher (Alice), and Robbin Snoddy; six grandchildren, Cynthia Fisher Roberts (Sean), Danielle Snoddy Brown (Davis), Amy Fisher, Christopher Fisher (Stephanie) Grant Snoddy and Laura Fisher and four great-grandchildren, Caitlyn Roberts, Hayden Roberts, Zachary Fisher and Cordelia Brown.
Bonnie's work included serving as the only teacher in a one room school in Allen County, Secretary to the principals at Westport High School and Male Traditional Schools at Brook & Breck and at Preston Highway.
She loved traveling (visiting every state except Alaska), hosting Derby parties (30 plus), hosting family holiday dinners and family birthday dinners. Always the giver, she will be lovingly missed not only by her husband and children but also by everyone she knew and loved.

Visitation is from 4 pm to 8 pm at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, Louisville. Her funeral Mass will be offered at St. Albert the Great Church at 11 am Friday, with a graveside service at St. Joseph Cemetery at 3 pm CST.
