Actor. Born Albert Valery Dufour, he was best known for the role of John Wyatt on the TV soap "Search for Tomorrow" and winning an Emmy Award for Best Actor in 1977. He was also noted for his role as Walter Curtin on TV day drams "Another World" and his role of Andre Lazar on "The Edge of Night". Primarily a television performer, he appeared on series to include "Hallmark Hall of Fame", "Navy Log", "Sugarfoot", "Gunsmoke", "The Adventures of Jim Bowie", "Rawhide" and many more. He died of cancer at age 73.
