Obituary - Alta Robins Blood, 63, 180 South 200 East, active in Davis County affairs and a long-time music teacher, died November 4, 1975, in a Salt Lake hospital of complications of cancer.

Mrs. Blood was instrumental in organizing the Davis County Music Teachers Association. She also served as vice president of the Utah Music Teachers Association.

A community leader, she was a vice chairwoman of the Davis County Republican Party and was a district chairwoman in that organization. She was president and secretary of the Literature, Music, and Art Club and president of Alpha Chi Omega Mothers Club.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as a former Relief Society president and a stake board member. She was active in other LDS auxiliaries and was a temple ordinance worker from 1967 until the time of her death.

She was born December 14, 1911, in Kaysville to Glen Frederick and Lola Curtis Robins. She was married to Seth Layton Blood October 28, 1932, in the Salt Lake Temple. She and her husband served a three-year LDS mission to New Zealand and Australia.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Howard S. (Betty) Clark, Salt Lake City, and three grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother and sisters, Mrs. Blaine (LaRue) Pack, Ogden; Mrs. Grant (Olive) Bringhurst, Campbell, California; Mrs. George (Bonnie) Heywood, and C. Dee Robins, both of Kaysville; Mrs. Don (Glenna) Feller, Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Don (Clover) Carroll, Bountiful.

Funeral will be Friday, 1 p.m., at the Centerville 1st LDS Ward chapel. Friends call at Lindquist Bountiful Mortuary, Bountiful, Thursday, 7-9 p.m., and at the ward chapel Friday, one hour before services. Burial will be in the Kaysville-Layton Memorial Park.
