Paul Evans Bollinger, 89, of Startown, was a son of the late Wellington Evans Bollinger and Bleka Hunt Bollinger. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Elosie Mazelle Starr Bollinger.
He was a soldier in MaCarthur's Japanese Occupation at the end of WWII, serving as a medic. Paul founded Startown Furniture Manufacturing Company in Newton NC.
Interment in Old St. Paul's Lutheran Evangelical Church Cemetery, Newton.
