Mrs. Ziegler was born in Topeka, KS, and lived most of her life in Chicago.
"She was an angel on earth to all who knew her," said her daughter, Anne Marie Bulicek. Mrs. Ziegler taught catechism at St. Genevieve Church on the Northwest Side.
Mrs. Ziegler returned to school in her 50s and obtained the equivalent of her high school diploma. She also enjoyed attending Chicago Blackhawks games with her late husband, Joseph.
Survivors also include two other daughters, Joan Jablonski and Margaret Schalke; three sons, Joseph, George and Robert; two brothers, Jack and Gus; three sisters, Rose Loewe, Annie Anderson and Hilda Scherrer; and 17 grandchildren.
