Myrtle E. Ashby Brown, age 87, of Parrottsville, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 9, 2014. She was a member of Parrottsville Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney B. Brown; parents, John Andrew and Ida Crowe; daughter-in-law, Glenna Sutherland; and all of her brothers and sisters, she was the last surviving sibling.
She is survived by her son, Herman Gene Sutherland; and her granddaughter, Lisa Francis and her husband Rick; and her very special friend, Billie McNealy.
