She was born on Oct. 8, 1925, to H.A."Joe" and Mary Walker in Fairview, W.Va. She moved to Beaverton, Mich., with her parents in 1937. She graduated from Beaverton High School.

She married Warren Perry in Beaverton. They owned Perry's IGA for many years in Beaverton and Gladwin, Mich. Warren passed away in 1976. Retirement gave her many fun years in Arizona. In 2001 she moved to Montana to be near her sons.

She is survived by her sons, Randall (Lisa) Perry of Huntley, Mont., and Dennis Perry of Roundup, Mont. Her parents; husband; and sisters, Lucille Roehrs and Joanne Brown, preceded her in death.

She was cremated at her request. A service will be held in Michigan in the spring.

The family is requesting any memorials be made to the Billings Public Library Foundation. Their Senior/Homebound Outreach program brought large print books to Erma for many years and she eagerly looked forward to each new delivery.

The family would like to offer their sincere thanks to the employees at West Park Village and Valley Health Care for their years of caring.
