She was born April 20, 1916 in Hooker, Ohio, daughter of the late John and Margaret (Johnston) Kesterson.
Ruth was a homemaker, former employee of Universal Pottery and a member of Beckett United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Ross Harbin Sr., whom she married January 21, 1938; one son, Carl Ross Harbin Jr.; five brothers, Alva, Arthur, Clarence, John & Charles; four sisters, Marie Berry, Gladys Young, Edith Jefferies and Margaret Samples; grandson, Alan Reese.
Visitation will be Thursday at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge with services to follow with Rev. Randy Mercer officiating.
Burial at Guernsey Memory Gardens.
