Chester J. Leith, 68, of 1870 Reading Drive, Bethlehem, died Monday in St. Luke's Hospital. He was the husband of Gloria A. (Yob) Leith. They were married 46 years last September.

He worked in the coke works division of Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 38 years until retiring in 1990.

Born in Lower Saucon Township, he was a son of the late John J. Jr. and Martha E. (Mindler) Leith.

He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War.

Survivors: Wife; daughter, Patricia J. of Hellertown; brother, Maynard G. of Emmaus; sisters, Ella Mae, wife of Frank Martin of Freemansburg, and Gladys L., wife of Merritt Seifert of Springtown; stepbrothers, Spurgeon Barndt of Steel City, Orrin A. Barndt of Coopersburg, Leslie R. Barndt of Nazareth and Houston W. Barndt of Bethlehem, and stepsisters, Virginia Zimmerman of Emmaus and Arlene Edna Buki of Bethlehem.

Services: 10 a.m. tomorrow, Heintzelman Funeral Home, 326 Main St., Hellertown. Call 7-8:30 p.m. today.
