Bertha was the daughter of Jonathan & Lydia Fender Jarrett. She married Joseph Martin Alexander, the son of William & Luvina White Alexander, on October 1, 1898 in Wayne County, Indiana. The couple were the parents of Oran C., Lois Leona, Earl, Audrey and Lowell Everett Alexander. Mr. Alexander passed away in 1956. In her latter years, Mrs. Alexander lived in Richmond, Indiana.
