Hal Harrison Gibson, 89, of Mayfield died Tuesday January 7, 2014 at the Calvert City Convalescent Center.

He was a self employed property manager, WWII U.S. Navy Seabee Veteran, member of the First United Methodist Church in Mayfield, member of the Kiwanis Club, and charter member of the Mayfield Housing Authority.

Mr. Gibson is survived by; one son, Sonny (Marietta) Gibson of Mayfield; two daughters, Gay Gibson (Bennie) Deaton of Calvert City and Dana Gibson (Joe) Stonecipher of Murray; nine grandchildren and spouses, Renee and Kenny Fister, Amy Deaton, Sean and Stacey Stonecipher, Shea and Scott Lowe, Kacee and Landon Barrow, Hal Harrison "Trip" Gibson III and Danna Gibson, Amber and Chris Green, Kylie and Chuck Peery, and Andrew Gibson; 12 great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Eloise Hicks of Mayfield; brother-in-law, Bill Tolar of Mayfield; niece, Marie Jones of Murray.

He was preceded in death by; wife, Rosalyn Tolar Gibson; grandson, Chris Deaton; brother, WM. T. Gibson; parents, Hugh Harrison and Iva Lee Gibson.

Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00AM Saturday January 11, 2014 at Mayfield Memory Gardens. Rev. Joe Hansen will officiate. Friends may call from 5-7PM Friday January 10, 2014 at the Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield.
