WINSTON-SALEM—Helen Maxine Groseclose Joyce, 72, died Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Trinity Glen Nursing Home.
She was born May 11, 1941 in Wythe County, VA to Robert Hugh Groseclose, Sr. and Helen Williams Groseclose. She attended the Presbyterian Church and enjoyed doing all kinds of crafts, especially crocheting and ceramics.
A 2:00 pm funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Burroughs Chapel with Rev. Ricky Craig and Elder Milton Gunter officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Hugh Groseclose, Sr. and Helen Williams Jessup.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, John Byron Joyce of the home; 2 sisters, Carolyn Sprinkle and husband Robert of Sparta, NC, Sherrie Skeleton and husband John of Spartanburg, SC , and 1 brother, Robert Groseclose and wife Pricilla of Clemmons.
