Julia Lee (Thorne) "Bunny" Bradley, 66, of Waynesboro, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at her residence.
She was born on April 16, 1947, a daughter of the late Russell and Pearl Thorne.
She grew up in Buena Vista, VA and was a graduate of Perry McClure High School.
Mrs. Bradley worked for Cornell Communications in Staunton for a number of years. Later, she was a Nurse's Aide with Liberty House Nursing Home (now Avante at Waynesboro).
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Ellis Bradley; and a sister, Hilda Patterson.
Her family includes 2 sons, Chad and Chris Bradley; 3 grandchildren, Madison, Tatiyana, and Cassidy Bradley; 2 step-grandchildren, Tyleyk Cabell and Natiya Dudley; her sister, Shirley Garman and husband Bobby of Cambridge, OH; a special niece, Teresa Lewis; and a grand-niece, Emily Lewis.
A service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, January 10, 2014 at McDow Funeral Home in Waynesboro with Pastor Bobby Garman officiating. Interment will follow at the Concord Church of the Brethren Cemetery in Fairfield, VA.
