WEST, Clyde Spottswood, died Sunday, January 5, 2014 at the age of 77. He is survived by two sisters, Susie H. Davis and her husband, Robert, and Dorothy M. Henley; two brothers, Thomas E. West and his wife, Patty, Allie F. West and his wife, Barbara; stepsister, Marie Hoy and her husband, Don; and one aunt, Frances W. Byers. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Frances L. and Clyde F. West; a devoted sister, Joan W. Bland; brother, George W. Mason and his wife, Rosina; and brother-in-law, Kenneth I. Henley. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Bliley's - Central, 3801 Augusta Ave., where a funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery, Ashland, Va.
