Thomas Lloyd Bullock

Thomas Lloyd Bullock passed away at his home in New Castle on Aug. 4, 205. He was 47.

He was born Jan. 23, 1958, in Coalville, Utah, to Lloyd H. and Marilyn (Thomas) Bullock.

Thomas lived in New Castle for 40 years. He loved the outdoors, hunting fishing, and being with his horses. He was a rancher, outfitter and loved to work in his fields.

He married Patty Aldrich on Dec. 1, 1990.

Thomas was very active in his church, started Boy Scout Troop 233 in Silt, and took a 50-mile hike with his troop for their badge. He was a loving husband, brother and son.

Survivors include his wife, his parents and his son, Jake Bullock, all of New Castle; sisters Beverly (Alex) Kamas, of Grand Junction, Kristine Bullock, of Riverton, Utah, and Marielle (Troy) Jordan, of Draper, Utah; many nieces and nephews; and many friends.

Visiting hours will be from 9:30-10:45 a.m. Monday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Rifle.

A church service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Rifle, with Bishop Don Olmstead officiating.

Pallbearers will be D.J. Olmstead, K.J. Olmstead, Don Aldrich, Chance Aldrich, Jim Holden Jr. and Billy Holden. Honorary pallbearers are Marvin Pesik and Frank Daley.

Burial will be at Divide Creek Cemetery in Silt.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, El Paso Teller Unit, 1445 North Union, Suite B-100, Colorado Springs, CO 80909.

The Rifle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
