Mr. Butler was born January 3, 1941 in Rosston, Arkansas and was retired from civil service.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Butler of Garland, Texas; one son, Jason E. Butler of Springdale, Utah; two daughters, Abigail Butler Gathwright of Richland Hills, Texas, Laura Grace Butler Kirkland of Garland, Texas; his mother, Mildred Marie Reaves Butler of Texarkana, Texas; one brother, Dennis Butler of Texarkana, Texas; five grandchildren and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon Friday at the Texarkana Funeral Home Texas Chapel . Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Bodcaw, Arkansas
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6:00 to 7:30 P.M.
