Mrs. Apple died Wednesday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Bessie Stidham, Route 2, Cookeville.
Survivors in addition to Mrs. Stidham, include four other daughters, Mrs. Vesta Harris, Granville, Mrs. Florence Stout, Route 5, Cookeville, Mrs. Eunice Brown, Route 2, Baxter, Mrs. Madeline Spurlock, Cookeville; three sons, Wayne Apple, Route 2, Cookeville, Clifton Apple, and Joe Apple, Coalingo, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Floy Whitehead, Mrs. Fanny Odell, both of Whittier, Calif.; thirty grandchildren, and 39 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
**She was married to Ridley McDonald Apple. Her parents were: Samuel Sullivan Cardwell and Margaret Eugenia Robinson.
