Mrs Josephine Velma Pinkerton, 221 E. Paris St., died at 7:30 a.m. today in her home after a short illness. She was born in Streator Illinois June 21, 1895, and had lived in South Bend most of her life. In 1925 in Mishawaka, she married John Pinkerton, who preceeded her in death. Surviving are a son, Glen Miller, a daughter, Mrs Corrine ("Pat") Henry, both of South Bend; two grandchildren, four sisters, Mrs Nettie Trittinger, Mrs Gertrude Seese, Mrs Alice Miller, all of South Bend, and Mrs Sheby Heltzel of Indianapolis. Rev. John D. Wolf of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, officiated the funeral service.
Pallbearers for Mrs Josephine Pinkerton will be, William Rosenbburg, Jack Trittinger, Osborne Haverstock, Robert Henry, Robert Lee, and Douglas Sellers.
Additional notes: First marriage to Eanson Roy Miller produced a daughter, Maple Miller, born 9/3/1916, died 12/9/1916, and a son, Calvin Miller, born 12/12/1918, died 1/2/1919.
