Aaron B. Starnes, 93, of Portland died Wednesday of natural causes.
He was born in Shedd.
He married Luella Falk in 1933. She died in 1992.
He worked as a tallyman for Warm Springs Lumber Company. He moved to Portland in 2004. Aaron was involved in outreach programs and enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, farming and traveling.
Survivors include children Mary Campbell and Ron, Ken, Lyle and Willy Starnes; 19 grandchildren; and 55 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at noon today at the Redmond Church of Christ, Ninth and Jackpine. Remembrances can be made to Columbia Christian Schools.
